A spec project built to explore the intersection of all my interests: VFX, motion, and filmmaking. ON's identity sits apart from the rest of the running world — edgy, technical, and quietly obsessive about craft. The concept centres on the research and development process behind ON's footwear, the mass of data, iteration, and engineering that most consumers never consider. Abstract visuals and point cloud animations, derived from 3D scans of the shoe, were used to bring that unseen process to the surface. The work you never see creates the difference you always feel. It was a fun challenge to blend captured footage and generative animation - something I hope to do more of in the future.
