Last August I was given the opportunity to help create the Launch video for Evil’s first new bike in almost 6 years. With full creative freedom, a small three-person crew, and less than a week to shoot, it was quite the undertaking. Shot on location in Kamloops, BC, the project required we shoot a video and full photo kit in unison. Working directly with photo and video at the same time posed a unique balancing act for the crew. The Offering needed to honour Evil’s gritty, grassroots legacy while signalling a new era for the brand.

Working alongside filmmaker Josh Woodward and photographer Dylan Sherrard, I contributed as Co-Director, VFX artist, and Rider. We decided upon using manual CRT glitch effects to give the film its raw, irreverent identity Evil has always owned. Being equal parts behind the vision and in front of the lens was a very unique opportunity and the result is one I am very proud of.
