Our group was tasked with creating an animated short for Fire & Story Festival with the theme 'growth.' We decided to tell the story of regrowth through the changing of season, creating a piece more centered on feel than anything else. I took the role of project lead, steering art direction and pacing. It was a fun challenge to tell the story of seasons in such a short piece. We heavily relied on advanced transitions to show seasons change, with a visual treatment on the orignal style frames that created the feeling of a dream-like haze throughout the scenes.
